I was disturbed to read the article in todays West about the racsim slurs that that the Krakouer Brothers went through in their VFL/WAFL career, but what amazes me is that Jim is a  Hall of Famer after being convicted of dealing amphetamines (think the sentence was 14 years) . Think of the misery he and his counterparts have delivered on the youth of of the great southern and the metropolitain area.  Not alone with other convictions against women. It seems this is just pushed under the carpet ,because of a stellar foot career.  Certainly not condoning the actions of Barry Cable, disgraceful if true, but he has not been convicted of a crime and was booted out  . 

Omah im surprised about racism in the Wafl.As long as ive followed Wafl footy.Every side has allways had a couple of Aboriginal players.Its allways been a big part of Wafl footy.Unlike the old VFL.
Do remember the early days of the Eagles.Chris Lewis use to cop it big time.But Chris gave it back big time.

The action is against the VFL/AFL and several individual ex-players and at least one coach with one umpire mentioned.

It'll be interesting what defences are mounted , or more to the point what bullshite they trot out because I'm afraid an example of it all would be any visit you were unlucky enough to have in the old VFL days at the disgustingly vile Victoria Park

Well Sam Kerr is a national hero so apparently according to the Bogan community she is also a legend for calling a UK copper a STUPID WHITE BASTARD. According to our Slow Cooked Premier that's ok it's not racist and the stupid black bitch said I didn't say bastard I said cop. Like that makes it ok? Typical dumb entitled bitch. Doesn't apologise. I've lost any respect I had for her.

Yes interested to see what the end game is here, and we know it was probably not just the ones named but everyone in the VFL then was likely involved in some way.

Please understand that comment doesn't mean i accept it was ok to be racist, just calling things how they were.

I guess what we all need to decide somewhere along the lines is do we continue to go back through history and litigate for past failures - captain cook rears his head in this argument every Australia day - or do we learn from it and improve our country and culture for the future?
