Hi all,

This week I’ve got:

Kalamunda to beat Mosman Park
Melville to beat Canningvale
Jandakot to beat Carlisle
Swan Athletic to beat Hamersley Carine
Cockburn Lakes to beat Thornlie

Looks like Cockburn Lakes may be the team to beat after sending Swans home with a loss last week.

Cant wait to watch the ladder figure itself out over the next few weeks with 6 teams all currently 2-2

Wowweee! what a start to the year.

Kalamunda VS Mosman Park: Finally the cougs have started to show why they managed to win a fair chunk of games in B grade last year. They can easily extend their 2 game win streak to a 5 game win streak with a 4 goal win this week followed by wins against Canning vale and Carlisle.
Melville vs Canning Vale: The stampeding rams have stumbled early on this year with close to a 10 goal thumping by Kalamunda. Looking like a much younger side this year as opposed to last year. Canning Vale has managed to sit on par with my expectations for the overall year performance. Although CV have found some success with the rotund pair of key forwards they simply struggle with getting enough clearances and transitioning out of their defensive 50 to make use of the effective forward line. Melville to win by 6 goals.
Jandakot vs Carlisle: Carlisle have been average to say the very least this year but this week is going to be the week they manage to put it all together and have a nice win. I love tipping a Smokey and I feel the Jets are going to be the only team to drop a game to Carlisle in season 2024. Carlisle by 3 points.
Swan Athletic vs Hammersley Carine: This game really doesn't have to explained, Swan ath are just a class above in this battle and HC just cant put together a healthy score besides the outlier game against a poor Carlisle. Swan Ath by 6 goals.
Cockburn Lakes vs Thornlie: What a great sight it is to see 5 members of the same family on the park in a league side, great effort Cockburn Lakes. I feel like this game will be closer than many will expect. 4 goal win to CL.

Good luck to everyone this weekend, enjoy the warm weather whilst its still around.
