Well it is the penultimate week of the season and we have some very exciting football games to bring to you and as per request perhaps MrM could preview all 3, but we shall see how we go later in this write up. But if you enjoy football then this is the weekend for you, and a B Grade Preliminary Final is about one of the biggest games on the Perth Football League Calendar. Despite having a balcony and changerooms approximately 274 meters from the playing surface, am sure the locals and the visitors will be making a noise.
Off the field and MrM (DrM less than a month…for all those at home) is sure that the masses have been made aware, that Wanneroo is now on the national stage featuring on the front of an Allen Lollies packet. In another off-field news, unfortunately MrM has once again been left of the guest list for the PFL Awards Night, and he could not be more shaken, a letter to the committee did little, but if you ask MrM his tip, it will be a ruckman to win. Either Yuke from the Ath (as no one stealing his votes) or the big haired mop from the Brumbies, and MrM is usually spot on, we shall not digress though because still some football to be played.
Let us look into this weekend
Wanneroo v Mount Lawley @MacDonald Reserve
You asked and MrM delivered a preview of all 3 games. Wanneroo had a loss last weekend to a red-hot Wembley side and will want to bounce back from the disappointment against a side that has had their measure in recent encounters. Meanwhile MrM hears Mount Lawley used some interesting tactics to get a win last weekend and will be interested to see if similar tactics are used as they have been in the past with the boys form Beaufort Street. I think Wanneroo will get it done though.

Wanneroo v Wembley @MacDonald Reserve
After a strong win the weekend before, Wanneroo ran into the tough Whitford side last weekend and will know that their best is good enough against Wembley, but don’t count out the Wombles, as they have come from just scraping in to finals, to a chance to go all the way. It is a battle of the Big V and I think Wanneroo will win.

Whitford v Wanneroo @MacDonald Reserve
This is the big game and the one we have been waiting for. The North Padbury boys would have hoped for a better showing last weekend but have a chance to regroup this weekend and make sure they are ready to go. Wanneroo on the other hand had a strong win against Collegians and want that momentum to carry them through this weekend. This will be a tough spirited contest and MrM is going with what he knows.

Good luck to all.
