Well as fit as MrM is, you cannot run forever and unfortunately as of hump day morning MrM is positive for just being a good all-round gent, but also the dreaded virus going around. MrM is feeling fantastic for all those wondering but it also means MrM is out of action this weekend which is a boost for all opposition clubs.
That being said no one is safe from the words of MrM but as always, he remains fair and honest for each and every club.

On the field though, things are looking fabulous for many sides, yet things are also looking quite bleak for many sides as well, do not fear though as the season runs long and everyone has a chance to turn things around. That being said though you would want things to turn around sooner rather than later and not leave your run till too late in the season as that is always a tough game playing catch up.

Let us look towards this weekend’s fixtures.

Melville v Collegians @Melville Reserve

It is no surprise that the Rams have been quite disappointing this season as last week they faced some troubles on and off the field and more than likely spread the virus to MrM, well played Rams, but they are at home and being at home is always more comforting than not. They come up against a Collegians team though, that will be red hot after dropping one at home last weekend. I think the Collegians boys will be up and ready to go and can see them running all over Melville.
Collegians by 5 goals

Whitford v Wanneroo @MacDonald Reserve

It may be an absolute blessing that MrM does not come this weekend, as he has lost his binoculars and really did not want to be squinting at the play from the balcony. The North Padbury gents though are travelling quite well and sit atop the ladder with everyone else chasing them so MrM will not discount them out, unlike the discount they got on the Patties mini Combo pack for an event last season things are looking good for the North Padbury *nickname redacted due to insensitivity*. Wanneroo though will be riding high in all grades after lasts weekend wins and would love nothing more than defeating an undefeated side at home. North Padbury are good, but MrM promised to be fair and honest and will go with that.
Wanneroo by 2 goals

Baldivis v Mt Lawley @Baldivis Football Oval

Baldivis may be the real deal, they play with all sorts of class, yet are a hard-nosed experienced team ready to play anyone anytime. They arguably face their biggest challenge this weekend though as they face a much-fancied side and by all reports, Mt Lawley are only going to get better. The Lawley boys are smiling, everyone is allowed back in the new clubrooms for a beverage after the game and they are undefeated so far in 2022 so things are only going to get better for them you would think. It is a difficult challenge down at Brumby Land side note, speaking of Brumbies, ACT Brumbies post game song is 10/10/. I think the Lawley boys will be rejoicing here though.
Mt Lawley by 2 goals

Ocean Ridge v Swan Athletic @Heathridge Park

Well for the Onion ridge boys a win this week is very important, 1 because everyone loves a winner and 2 because it keeps them in touch with the top 5 and also avoids the dreaded relegation zone. They came close against last weekend against some good opposition so expect another good showing however the boys from the Ath are chomping at the bit for a win otherwise danger looms for the Ath gents. MrM has a soft spot for the Ath and would love to see them do well however here against Onion Ridge away form home is a tough challenge. Onion Ridge will get it done.
Ocean Ridge by 2 goals

Wembley v Bullcreek Leeming @Pat Goodridge Reserve

Can Wembley put everything that has happened so far this season behind them and move forward, that is the biggest question or this weekend. On field losses and off field virus woes have seen Wembley not up to their best, but this next stretch of games looms as a big chance for them. Bullcreek though just don’t want to be a thereabouts team and a win this weekend will see them steer clear of the relegation zone and also another team wanting to keep in touch with the top 5 and play finals once more. I think Wembley will start to get things in order now and be back to their best, Wembley by 3 goals

Good luck to all this weekend, If you are free please text MrM on 1800 MrM IS COO the score so he can keep updated.

Will be an interesting round that’s for sure as I’m hearing on the grapevine that a number of clubs have been decimated by COVID protocols this week (more so than the “average,” if that’s such a thing).

Another sunny day of footy coming up as we enter the second quarter of the season. Nice summary again MrM, stay healthy good sir.

Into the tips:

Collegians will win this one handily by 8 goals. They'd be flat after last week but Melville might find the going tough.

Whitford to scrape over the line in what should be a good game of footy. Home ground advantage, not to mention the fact theyre unbeaten. The shopping center by 3 goals.

Another good game of footy this but I think Baldivis will do enough on their home ground against Mt Lawley. Both clubs would be happy with their start to the season but Brumby's by 4 goals here.

Flip a coin here but I think Swan Ath will notch a win by 10 points. Perhaps I like an underdog but they haven't been too far off the pace.

I agree that Wembley will get going here and win by 4 goals. Both teams will be desperate for 4 points by the ex-A Graders should be able to do enough.

Enjoy the weekend ahead.

Looks like we are lucky again with the weather this weekend. Some good games as well.

Melville v Collegians , Collegians will be stung by last weeks loss at home and I think they will rebound strongly here. Collegians by 10goals

Whitford v Wanneroo, Top of the ladder v 3rd. You can only beat who you play each week and that is what Whitfords has done. However Wanneroo to get the prize here by a couple of goals

Baldivis V Mt Lawley , Baldivis going a long well and have quite a few decent players. Mt Law just going at the moment and while they are not winning by big margins, they are finding a way. My hasnt footy changed these days. Went and listened to the coach talk to the players at the breaks and while I got the meaning of the messages hasnt the wording changed. Mt Law had a lot of the ball last week but could not convert. I believe the dreaded virus has also got a hold of them this week and they have lost a few. Baldivis on the junior oval by a goal in what should be a good game.

OR v SA , both teams desperate for a win. Cant see SA upsetting here at OR's home ground. OR by 3goals and SA looking down the barrel

Wembley V Bullcreek , Watched Wembley play last week and they are not too bad. They do have a couple of players that will end up having a forced break during the year once they are caught with their undisciplined acts they do. Anyway should be a good game and Bullcreek to get a win by a goal.

enjoy the footy and weather. Good luck to all
