So the talk from the wise men in the East is that the AFL/VFL ressies comp could get up and go as early as next year.  Can’t see it happening that early, but that’s the prediction from the Magi.  The only team against it was Freo and of course the peel dockers will scream.  Be interesting to see how it pans out.

It would be a good thing, I thought.  Peelmantle would really hate having to earn any glory through honesty and hard work too.  Still, after listening to the  podcast posted by dd, it ain’t gunna happen anytime soon.

This issue is not dead.  There’s only 1 AFL team against because they fear grass roots footy will suffer from it.
