Crikey just remembered Enter the Dragon - Bruce Lee. I saw that with my cousin at the Capri cinema in Gleddon Arcade.

Still to this day the best martial arts film ever made. I can't see that ever changing, not in my lifetime anyway.

It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Surely you have forgotten Bridge on River Kwai, The Great Escape, Mr Roberts and Shane.

Ps Do you mean African Queen rather than River Queen?

How old are you STT? Sounds like you must have been glued to your HMV or Rank Arena.

Bridge on the River Kwai and The Great Escape Great Movies, but a long way from the real story. Both I love though, along with The Battle of Britain, A Bridge To Far, Battle of the Bulge, Patton, Guns of Navarone, Where Eagles Dare and many others.

Breaker Morant is highly recommended. The lost but now found classic Wake In Fright is well worth a look.

Geez, an interesting topic this one.
There have been many fantastic movies over the years.
James Bond's On Her Majesty's Secret Service would be one of the best.
Shawshank Redemption.
Enemy of the State shows the dark side of America.
The Falcon and the Snowman.
One of Stanley Bakers movies called Hell Drivers
The Magnificent Seven
The Good, Bad and the Ugly
The 12th Man being a true story
North by Northwest
IP Man would have to be one of the better chop chop movies.

Too many other good movies to mention.

I am a fan of the Monty Python movies, with Life of Brian a slight favourite. Might watch them all again on the weekend as a tribute to Terry Jones. RIP.
