What the Eagles need is a rebuild of their supporter base. A few more years of pain and misery will do those downhill skiers the world of good. I met a bloke today asked him if he follows the AFL to see if I can get a bit of chat going about the draft. He sheepishly said yeh I follow the Eagles but lost a bit of interest  the last couple of years not sure why I think I’ve just been busy with work blah blah blah…😂

I was making good coin from this customer so didn’t rub it in. Anyway good to see the Eagles didn’t do what they usually do at the draft and try and be smart arses. This is how you do a rebuild. Be shithouse, get first pick in every round and make good selections.

Gee DD, you seem to have a ‘mate’ for every occasion…..you’re a popular man.  Do you really think that anyone from the Eagle’s senior admin right through to the supporters really give a damn for your mate?  We all know a club is better off without that type of person, be it WAFL or AFL  All things considered, the Eagles faithful have generally been that….faithful, a trait not found in all clubs.

Speaking of mates, one of my cousins mates has just sold his north of the river house to simon goodwin. Maybe an investment property, maybe not…time will tell

Fickle???  You’ve obviously forgotten the “fickleness” of the freo supporters in the past.  Ever been to one of their games when they are getting flogged?  But hey, yeh, happy to admit the Eagles are shit atm and have been for 3 years but they’ll get back up there without 7 “rebuilds”

So sit back and enjoy but you know what's coming. There will be a constant campaign mostly based on baseless rumour and innuendo from the east to pry Harley out of Western Australia and back to Melbourne.

Wasn't it Simon Goodwin who handed Daniel Curtin his Adelaide jumper on draft night in Perth? Daniel decided stay home for the draft.

Hey DG surely Jarrod Schofield would be in the sights of the Eagles and Fremantle if either stumble. Remember the late great Percy Johnson said it was a joke Schofield isn't a senior coach in the AFL.

The Weags have Reid for a min 3 years which is now the min contract period for drafted players, but AFL contracts are not exactly set in concrete these days, there's always a way out when push comes to shove. Unless the Weags are pushing for finals in 3 years time, Reid will be off quicker than a brides nighty

Anyone know who Harley's manager is? Eagles supporters better pray it's not Paul "Jerry" Connors. He was Juddy's manager. Everytime he extends if it's only 2 or 3 years that will whip the VFL media into a frenzy.
