With everything going wrong for the team on the weekend, could we see a couple of changes to the team to play North.I think both Walters and O'Driscoll would have been walk upstarters if fit.
But both played in an intra club clash at Peel on the weekend.Walters played three quarters, and more thanlikeley did what he had to do to get a berth this week.
O'Driscoll played a full game, so proved his fitness.According tothe club blurb, had a quiet first half , but played very well in the second half.
Both, I think will get spots.Maybe making Hughes, though I thought he played pretty well, the one to go out for Noddy.
It is either Hughes or Henry, again, I though played maybe his best gamefor the club so far.
I am sure there will be minimal changes, but I see both those mentioned winning their spots back.

If Sonny is fit he should be in the team. Also I like the energy that O'Driscoll brings to the team so I would have him in the squad as well

I thought that the pundits who were predicting the Dockers to finish 9th or 10th were being overly pessimistic after a decent season in 2022. After the defeat tonight by last years bottom team I am starting to feel these pundits were actually being optimistic. The Dockers have not addressed their perennial problem of kicking goals. They have not had a decent key forward since Pavlich retired and will struggle to win games consistently until they find one.

Taberner has been subbed out the last two weeks. Time to back in Amiss and Treacy and see what the can do over a period of time. Not in one week and out the next.

Get Erasmus in and let’s also see what Johnson can do.

Wilson has surprised me. I don’t think he’s the long term answer going forward but on current form deserves to be in the team. Chapman hasn’t been at his best so maybe give him a run at Peel and bring back Walker. He may make some mistakes but at least he takes the game on.

JL said that it wasn’t until the last 10 minutes that we started to play to win, taking the game on and crashing packs. The question should be asked why did it take until the last 10 minutes. Did he not see what was happening in the coaches box or did the players just not respond to his messaging.

Why did Fyfe pull out last minute tonight? I didn't see any of the match.

Interesting anayalist on Abc radio after the North win.
Most of those pundits had Freo ,6th to 10 th in 2023.
Believing they would struggle to kick winning scores in matches.
The first two rounds has a top 4 finish, unlikely in 23

GTR a top 8 finish is just as unlikely the  way they are going. If both teams play like this weekend in the Derby, Freo could be 3 and zip.

I've got a weird feeling WCE will knock them off.

From there the season is pretty much cactus.
